PETER RICCHIUTI teaches finance and investing at Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business, where he has twice been chosen as the school’s top professor. He served for five years as Louisiana’s assistant State Treasurer and Chief Investment Officer, managing $3B and serving on boards overseeing another $8B in retirement funds.
Peter graduated from Babson College and started his career at the investment firm of Kidder, Peabody & Co. In 1993, he founded Burkenroad Reports, Tulane’s investment research program. There, he leads 200+ business students in search of overlooked and undervalued stocks in the region.
Ricchiuti’s program has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, CNBC, and CNN; he also hosts the weekly business program ”Out To Lunch” on the local NPR affiliate, WWNO. Each year, he speaks to dozens of groups across the country on economics and the financial markets.
